Spelle, January 2011 – To coincide with the start of the New Year, agricultural machinery manufacturer Krone is relaunching its company website. In addition to its bright, modern design, the revamped site at www.krone.de now has better navigation and much improved Service, Distribution and Parts sections. Consequently, users can quickly and effortlessly search for the relevant Krone manager or expert and the nearest Krone warehouse or local dealer. Moreover, the product pages give detailed information about all Krone equipment, including a download facility for brochures, trade journal reviews and even action videos.
Modern and versatile – criteria that also apply to the Service section on the new Krone website. For example, site users can readily identify and order Krone original spares via the internet, and the customer service hotline is available for queries about Krone agricultural technology.
The Krone media library provides a comprehensive image database so that individual users can easily find suitable motifs to suit their particular requirements.

Free apps and a choice of five languages
The new Krone Media app keeps you informed about the latest developments in agricultural technology, offers a range of multimedia content and helps you locate your nearest Krone service centre. The smart feature of this app is that videos and other documents can be downloaded for later viewing offline. The Krone Media app keeps you up to date on the latest news from the world of agricultural machinery. Users can run their eye over the list of articles and then click on them to read in full.
In addition, the app affords access to the comprehensive Krone media library which is a mine of information on Krone technology. So that media content is available when the user is away from the office, offline or even on a slow dial-up connection, documents and videos can be stored by the app. Preloaded content is indicated by a tick next to the file name in the media list. And obviously, the edit function can be used to delete downloads when they are no longer required.

The ‘Contact’ view gives an instant read-out of the nearest Krone service centre. You either type in your current location or you use the built-in GPS function, and your nearest service centre is displayed instantly. You can also zoom in on contact details – including address, phone number and e-mail address – which enables you to get in direct touch with the relevant person.

Broadly speaking, the new Krone internet presence reflects the innovative spirit of the company as well as an understanding that customers increasingly expect more in terms of benefits and services. Furthermore, the relaunch means that all Krone web content is now available in five languages: German, English, French, Russian and Czech.
