KRONE Swadro TC 1250 Pro – Swathing with even greater comfort
KRONE now equips its Swadro TC 1250 as standard in the Pro version with the latest on-board electronics, Load Sensing and other features, making this compact four-rotor rake centre delivery even easier to operate.
Spelle, July 2026: With the Pro version of the tried-and-tested Swadro TC 1250, KRONE is expanding its product range in the 12.50-metre class of four-rotor rakes. While the Swadro TC 1250 and the Swadro TC 1250 Plus continue to impress with their intuitive and practical operation via the control units, the Pro version sets new standards in the field of compact four-rotor rakes. Equipped with standard Load-Sensing hydraulics and an ISOBUS operation device, the Swadro TC 1250 Pro offers a range of additional functions which enable numerous automated processes, taking operating comfort and efficiency to a whole new level.
Highly efficient compact machine
Given its overall length of just 8.25 m, the Swadro TC 1250 is currently the most compact four-rotor rake on the market in all its versions. This design enhances manoeuvrability and makes the machine easier to handle, particularly on small, winding or uneven surfaces. The working width, which can be adjusted steplessly from 9.80 to 12.50 m, ensures exceptional efficiency and allows the swath volume to be optimally adapted to the harvesting machine following behind. As with the Swadro TC 1250 / Plus, the new Pro version also features the tried-and-tested EasyLine drive concept which ensures an optimal forage flow. The front rotors rotate faster than the rear ones, in front of which the crops are spread out and then gathered into an extremely even, box-shaped swath.
Clean forage intake for the best quality
The active hydraulic rotor relief system, which is highly valued by customers and is already a standard feature on the Swadro-models TC 1370 Pro and TC 1570 Pro is now also integrated into the new Swadro TC 1250 Pro. The Pro version therefore incorporates a key comfort and performance feature from the larger series, offering users optimal rotor relief and ground adaptation even in the 12.5-metre class.
Even at the headland, the Swadro TC 1250 Pro's sophisticated hydraulic system demonstrates its strengths impressively: An integrated vibration damper enables the rotor arms to effectively absorb any fluctuations in the rake that occur when it is positioned at the headland – such as those caused by uneven ground or swaths which have already been laid down. This prevents the entire machine from rocking and significantly reduces the load on the frame.
With its Soft-Down automatic lowering system, the rake continues this gentle approach: As the rotors are lowered from the headland position into the working position, they are cushioned just before they touch the ground, ensuring that they settle gently onto the sward. This controlled lowering ensures that the rotors touch down safely and precisely, provides long-term protection of the sward and minimises contamination of the crops – a key factor in achieving high-quality forage.
Automatic functions reduce the driver's workload
Added comfort is provided by a range of new automatic and driver-assistance functions. To ensure optimum results across a variety of field layouts, the Swadro TC 1250 Pro comes as standard with an single-rotor lifting mechanism and a paired rotor lifting mechanism. When using the automatic lifting mechanism, the rear rotors are automatically raised to the same height as the front rotors after a short delay. The highlight here is the flexible adjustment of the delay, as this can be adapted to the driver's needs based on both time and distance.
If the rotors are still on the ground when reversing, the machine lifts them automatically. This prevents damage to both the rake and, in particular, the sward.
To further enhance driving comfort, the Swadro TC 1250 Pro is available with an optional automatic section control system
Section Control. This significantly reduces the driver’s workload, particularly when working on irregular field layouts and during long working days, as the machine now raises and lowers the rotors automatically.
The rake can be folded from the transport position to the headland position and back again at the touch of a button using the sequence control. When the machine is folded out, it automatically returns to the last position it was in before it was folded in. This contributes significantly to working efficiently and achieving reproducible results.
Like the Plus model, the new Pro version also features electric rotor height adjustment. Two programmable rotor heights enable quick switching between known conditions. To adjust the height of the rotors individually, each rotor can be adjusted separately, all together, or using the master rotor principle via the terminal.
Working with maximum operator comfort
Operation is controlled via the enhanced Comfort On-Board Electronics 2.0 which features full ISOBUS connection and Load Sensing support. All functions are clearly displayed on the terminal and can be easily controlled from the tractor cabin. The Swadro TC 1250 Pro therefore meets the highest standards for modern driver workstations.
Depending on the intended use, the rake can be fitted with different types of tyres. You can choose between 500/50-17 tyres or extra large 710/35 R22.5 tyres which offer additional ground protection and quiet running.
Conclusion: With the Swadro TC 1250 Pro, KRONE presents a four-rotor rake centre delivery which impresses with its compact design, extensive automatic functions and newly developed operating solutions. The combination of excellent manoeuvrability, intelligent technology and maximum operator comfort makes it a high-performance solution for professional forage production chains and demanding operating conditions.
