Monitoring all processes

Spelle, July 21018. Cameras are a great help on farm machines, as they reduce operator fatigue and ensure reliable operation. Krone now gives tractor operators the convenience of using two cameras that automatically switch between views on the same terminal. This feature is particularly useful when operating baler wrappers that also apply peripheral film. One camera monitors the application of the peripheral film inside the bale chamber while the second camera monitors the transfer of the bale to the wrapping unit and the wrapping cycle. Both camera angles are viewed on the same screen of the new Krone CCI 1200 terminal. This allows operators to conveniently adjust the display settings and picture size to their own personal preference. The view changes automatically between the two cameras. As soon as the rear door opens, the view on the CCI 1200 terminal switches from Procedure 1 to Procedure 2. When peripheral film application starts, the terminal switches back from Procedure 2 to Procedure 1. This gives operators the perfect overview of the function currently being performed by the machine.
The tractor operator can thus monitor all tying and wrapping cycles for proper operation. Visual monitoring takes the strain off operators and boosts operational reliability. Furthermore, this Krone feature eliminates the need for an additional display screen, which in turn improves all-round visibility in the tractor cab.
